Our English-teaching products and activities in Taiwan, mainland China and the U.S. give us many opportunities to meet and help local teachers of English. To serve these teachers better, we are now creating a new “Teachers’ Services” team. This team will assemble materials helpful to teachers and conduct teacher-training seminars and camps. It is also developing an on-line Teachers’ Resource Center, to be launched in April.

Barbara Stewart is heading up this team. Working closely with Barbara is Dr. Charles Lee, who writes, amongst others, monthly classroom activity ideas for teachers using our Studio Classroom magazine. Elizabeth Gedge joins the team from New Zealand, where she composes monthly activities for teachers using Let's Talk in English. These activities may be downloaded free of charge from our magazine Web sites, www.StudioClassroom.com and www.LetsTalk.com.tw.

Marijane Elliott represents the team in mainland China where she routinely conducts workshops, helping teachers face the growing demands of teaching English as a second language.
